Slow shop today at Yellow Bike. I took the opportunity to do a little wrenching. There was an old Huffy steel frame with 3 speed hub that needed some attention. Bike was in generally good shape. Original equipment all around including fenders, saddle and grips. Paint job was still good. Old steel 26 1 3/8 rims that were relatively straight with nearly uniform spoke tensions. Somebody obviously treated this thing well.

Adjusted both brakes, repacked the headset, reattached the shift cable to the rear hub, and did some general cleaning. Another bicycle ready for sale. Can’t describe how satisfying that is. Can’t wait to see somebody ride this out of the shop. This will make a fabulous around town cruiser.
