The last few rides through north central Austin have met with detours along Grover and Woodrow.  The street department is busy installing islands, speed bumps and various other small structures.  I should anticipated this but I got a little surprise when I turned on Anderson and prepared to turn left on Woodrow.  The left turn lane had a barrier.  I had to u-turn and double back to Tisdale.

On the return trip I just hit the sidewalk along the west side of Woodrow. Wanted to take a look at what they were doing.  Looks great.  I hope this tames the bull along this nice stretch of street.
