One of the things I do during my pre-ride ritual is strap on my Road ID. It goes on my right wrist next to the Livestrong band.
This piece of “equipment” doesn’t keep me safe. It won’t prevent some knucklehead SUV driver from hitting me while they fiddle with their makeup, iTunes, text message….
What it will do is provide critical information to emergency responders. I have my name, address, several phone numbers, along with my blood type.
You can put almost anything you want on there. And they have an interactive model that provides a PIN for a web site containing your emergency data. The price is very reasonable and the service from the people at Road ID is awesome.
